Investing Time vs. Investing Money

Make Money Expert specializes in revealing “regenerational revenue” streams and how to start winning big online.

In this chapter, we are going to discuss and dissect the importance and significance of investing your money, time, and energy back into your online business.

Have you ever stopped and taken the time to think about how much your time is worth? This is an important thing to consider because at some point in your business life, you'll need to start outsourcing the tedious work you don't want to do.

That is where the conception and ideology of becoming a Super Networker is all about – leveraging your time, energy, and money so you can focus on the vital money-making activities.

Your business is not going to grow without you either investing your time or money – or sourcing others to get the job(s) done in a timely and precise manner. You have to determine which one of these two things you are going to focus on to grow your brand. In some cases, you will need to invest in both.

Or – our favorite – networking with people who know how to move things productively, elaborately encode tasks, and work with their blood, sweat, and tears instead of a specified dollar amount.

Now, before we dive deep into the digital waters of how to appropriately and diligently invest your efforts and resources, you must understand Rome was not built in a day – if it were – we would all be living in paradise by now 🙂

With that being duly noted, practicing patience is a virtue as it will take time to get jobs done and finalized, networks to grow, and surrounding yourself with people (ideally experts) and entrepreneurs who can help assist and aid in your growth and creation of starting a real business that makes money for you.

If you do not have the necessary startup capital needed to start a business, you’re going to have to get in the trenches and start working.

You simply don’t have a choice. Chances are it will be frustrating, stressful, and downright painful sometimes. However, don’t let it deter you – it will be worth it in the end.

The stress and frustration with growing a brand are why it is important you do something you absolutely love. Without a passion that fuels you, you probably will crash and burn.

Today, everything is going to cost money. Even a simple blog is going to cost you a few bucks a month and that’s with just the bare minimum.

When I started my online business, I did everything myself. I spent hours upon hours working on projects each and every day. I had the passion and dedication to succeed. I didn't trust anybody else and because of what I spent a lot of days working 12 or more hours. That's why we have our awesome make money expert beginner's guide to show you the 4-1-1 on how its done like an expert.

I started building niche sites and writing content. I didn’t go out with friends, I spent no time with my family and I felt they got in the way a lot. I just don’t take it anymore and the lack of a life finally made me realize that I should outsource some of my workload. I just had to do it or I knew I would become miserable and dislike my life.

My first step was to outsource my content. I was paying roughly $20-30/article because I knew I would make much more from that content if I paid for quality content. I knew the value was simply greater than the cost.

We expand upon how to decipher business hope vs hype, and how to get the best bang for your buck and luck here.

Eventually, I started outsourcing web design and publishing of my content too. Essentially, my business had become hands-free. All I had to do was oversee it and make sure everybody was doing his or her job. However, this took years in the making and took a lot of time, sweat, and patience to reach this “make money expert” level.

Investing Time To Build Your Business

Chances are you’ve got a dream about what you want your life to be like. I’ll let you in on a secret. It’s much easier to make $10k/month than it is making $1k/month. Likewise, it’s much easier to make $100k/month than it is 10k/month. Once you have the capital to keep re-investing into your business, the sky is essentially the limit on how much you can make.

However, before you make your first million, you have to make your first thousand. This is going to require a lot of time and patience. You will need to sacrifice a lot of your time each and every day building a legitimate business. You should also remember to dream big and don’t stop at any cost.

You see once most people make their first 25k or 50k, they start to get comfortable. Getting to comfortable causes people to become lazy and this can essentially ruin a business. You need to remember your business can crumble at any second. You need to stay motivated.

Once you commit to an idea, you need to go all in. Dream about having millions in your bank account. That’s basically the only way you are going to stay motivated and keep striving to make more money. If you’re just looking to make a $100/day, your business plan isn’t going to be anything close to someone dreaming of millions… just remember that.

To start seeing results, you’re going to have to put in the work. If you plan on writing an e-book on an informational topic, you better start typing. Even if you don’t think you have the time, you better start making it. It may sound tough but in reality, that’s what you need to do to be successful.

Investing time is hard for people including me. Trust me, I struggled to find time when I initially started because I had to work a full time job on top of what I was doing online. I eventually realize I couldn’t stand making someone else rich so I stopped goofing off and sat on computer working until the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes, I would only get 2-3 hours of sleep. It’s just the sacrifice you need to make to be successful.

I wanted to be financially free but I knew the only way that would happen for me is it I dedicated myself to making it online.

This type of attitude is what you need to be completely honest. It might sound harsh but the reality it is you are wasting your time unless you actually have this type of attitude.

The worst thing you can do for yourself is do nothing and then ask yourself in a dozen years, what life would be like if you only put the effort into creating a real online business.

Investing Money Resources To Build The Business

While investing time is difficult and can be frustrating, the exact opposite is true for investing money. Investing money can easily buy happiness. This is knowledge at its finest peak.

It’s very easy to test the waters before you actually dive head first into an idea. Plus, you can have all the other people do your dirty work for you so you can focus on other projects.

With a decent amount of starting capital, you can open yourself up to several opportunities that are not available for most people. As we just described, it’s must easier to be successful and build wealth if you already have money to begin with.

As soon as you invest money into your business and outsource, you’ll find yourself less stressed, frustrated, and things are a lot easier.

Before you can outsource though, you need to put a value on your time. If you make $50/hour per day, it wouldn’t make sense to write content. Instead, you can hire someone for $15/hr to outsource your content so you can focus on more important things.

Your ultimate goal should be to be the “idea guy.” In other words you generate the ideas and outsource all of the grunt work to others. This basically makes you hands-free and allows you to focus on several moneymaking projects at once.

You should realize that money is a tool that is vital to the success of a business. If you aren’t willing to put in the time or money into yourself or your business, you’re going to fail. It’s really just that simple.

If you have a good plan and are willing to take a risk, you should do whatever you can to get the capital to execute your plan. Work for it, borrow it, do whatever you need to do. The rich have done exactly this and are reaping the benefits.
