Why Freedom Mentor?

If you're dying to get into real estate investment and just can't figure out how to get started, Freedom Mentor offers a paid coaching service for people just like you.

Freedom Mentor Information

The personality behind this program is Phil Pustejovsky. We'll tell you what's behind this program, how much it costs, who Phil Pustejovsky is, and whether it seems like something worth paying for.

Who is Phil Pustejovsky?

Freedom Mentor is Phil Pustejovsky, and Phil Pustejovsky is Freedom Mentor. If you join you will be coached by some sub-coaches who work for Freedom Mentor, but they're really just disciples of the Phil Pustejovsky way.

And what is that way? Phil Pustejovsky claims to be a real estate investor guru. His true claim to fame is making tens of millions of dollars in the short sale business since 2002, when he founded this company. His niche is “creative real estate investing”.

To look at Phil Pustejovsky's LinkedIn profile, you would come away with the idea that he's never done anything except attend Vanderbilt University and then immediately after graduating in 2002, start Freedom Mentor.

Really? The best real estate investor in the world, to whom I'm considering giving money, never worked anywhere else, even just to cut his teeth in the industry? Everyone has to start somewhere.

Apparently Phil did start somewhere: at the bottom. He went from being homeless to becoming one of the “leading real estate investing authorities in North America”, a best-selling author His book is called How to be a Real Estate Investor and it's sold on Amazon), and a national speaker. No details are given, except that it was all possible because Phil Pustejovsky had a mentor. Now he's a mentor, too.

What's the Freedom Mentor Program?

You sign up with them, they teach you how to make money in real estate, and then you give them half your net profits for a contracted period of time, until you reach a certain profit level.

The 50/50 split means Phil and company have as much interest in you making profits as you do, so everyone wins. Except, that's not the only source of profit for them, even though it's the only source of profit for you.

You see, by the time you make your first sale, you'll already have invested between $1000 and $8000 plus $200 a month. The Freedom Mentor website does not mention pricing anywhere, so this info is gathered from forums and online Q&A snippets.

That means the risk is you'll never make a sale, or you won't profit enough to recover your investment quickly enough, so you get dragged into a very bad financial situation.

Why Should You Use Freedom Mentor?

Well, the program does seem to work for many people, if you believe the video testimonials. Here's what the program offers for your money, according to the Freedom Mentor website:

  • More Time
  • True Financial Intelligence
  • More Freedom
  • More Confidence

There are more intangible items on the list, but nowhere on the site do you get to find out what your money gets you…nor do you find prices. Nope, it's all about getting you to ask them for the info. That way, they get your phone number and email address.

Freedom Mentor Scam?

The call-to-action is called “Apply Now”, which means apply to be on of Phil Pustejovsky's next “6” apprentices. They're asking you to give first, before they reveal anything at all.

Kind of like they'll be asking you to give a lot of money first, before you get to learn a thing or make any profit.

When a website won't even tell you what the product is, or how much it costs, that should tell you something, no? Sure, maybe Phil Pustejovsky has helped people, but his website is all about that contact info right now.

If I had an old product which I couldn't sell anymore, I'd turn my website into a leads-capturing landing page, too! I'd simply turn around and sell those leads to someone else. Just sayin…
