SocialAdr Review

SocialAdr is one of the world’s most popular internet marketing tools. SocialAdr offers five different social marketing-style services, although it is most famous for its social bookmarking tool.

What is SocialAdr and how can it transform your online business? Find out today in our SocialAdr review.

What is SocialAdr?

SocialAdr (pronounced “Social Adder”) calls itself a “unique social media marketing service.” It was created in 2009 by a guy named Kane Miller.

Kane claims that he was an “overloaded affiliate marketer” who felt burnt out by manual link building.

Instead of wasting his time manually creating links across the internet, Kane decided to try a different approach. He created SocialAdr as a way to quickly and effectively generate social links on multiple websites at the same time.

What Does SocialAdr Do?

SocialAdr simultaneously shares your content across 24 social bookmarking sites, including all of the major sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.

It’s fully automated. You simply upload your content – like a link to a blog post along with a basic description of that content. Then, you confirm the submission and instantly share it with the 24 bookmarking sites.

The system is entirely web-based. You don’t need to install new software. You can also sign into SocialAdr from any internet-connected device.

SocialAdr isn’t the only social bookmarking service out there. However, it has one advantage over most other services: the bookmarking links come from real human social media accounts.

You still have to setup your own accounts to use the service. However, every time you post your bookmark, it will be shared across dozens of other real user accounts. I’ll explain how that works below.

How Does SocialAdr Work?

SocialAdr works based on a unique credit system. You earn credits by sharing other members’ bookmarks.

To “share” another member’s bookmark, you simply press “Share” to submit it to all the social accounts you have setup. That content is then posted from your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or whatever other accounts you’ve linked to SocialAdr.

Free SocialAdr members earn 0.1 credits per each successful submission. If you share the content across all 24 social bookmarking sites, you’ll earn 2.4 credits every time you share a new piece of content.

You’ll need to collect 6 credits before you can share your own bookmarks with other members. 1 credit is deducted from your account every time another member shares your content and submits it to a social media service.

Can I Control What I Share?

You don’t have to worry about sharing scams or malicious content on your personal social media profiles: before sharing anything, you can browse through the Share Queue and find content you genuinely want to promote.

Each item in the Share Queue comes with a bookmark link to the site as well as a brief description of what that content is. You can see when the content was added to SocialAdr.

Or, of course, if you’ve setup spam-style social media accounts and you don’t care what gets posted, then you can go down the queue and click the “Share” button beside everything you see to quickly build up credits.

How to Earn Credits

Obviously, credits are the currency that makes SocialAdr work. As mentioned above, you earn credits from sharing the content of other members online. Specifically, you earn 0.1 credits for every successful submission.

However, there are other ways to earn credits. Below each item in the Share Queue, you’ll see social media buttons like +1, Facebook Like, and Tweet.

You earn different credits based on which social media service you share this content on. Here’s how the credits break down:

Twitter: You can write your own tweets for certain content pieces and earn credits based on the number of followers you have. The formula breaks down like this: ((ln(followers+50)^2)/3)-4. For free users, the multiplier used in the equation is 0.1. If you have 2,035 Twitter followers, then each tweet you send will earn 15.5×0.1, or 1.6 credits.

Google +1: If you press the +1 button, the content will be shared on your Google+ page. Surprisingly, each +1 click earns you 1 full credit (10 times more than most other services).

Facebook Likes: When you like SocialAdr content, your Facebook friends will be able to see it. The number of credits you earn per like is based on the number of friends you have. It’s the same as the Twitter formula: ((ln(friends+50)^2)/3)-4. The multiplier for free accounts is once again 0.1. If you have 356 friends, each like will earn you 0.8 credits (8 x 0.1)

LinkedIn Shares: The final social media share button is LinkedIn Share. Each LinkedIn Share earns you 0.5 credits, which is about 5 times what you earn from other social media submissions.

If you subscribe to a paid SocialAdr account, then you’ll also get a certain amount of shares for free every month. Those shares are guaranteed backlinks. Depending on which plan you pay, you’ll pay between 1.6 cents to 2.4 cents per share (see full pricing details below).

Benefits of SocialAdr

The concept behind SocialAdr is simple:

— Search engines like Google are putting a greater emphasis on social signals like tweets and Facebook likes

— Studies have shown that the more tweets and likes content gets, the higher it will rank on search engine results pages

— SocialAdr wants to effectively trick Google into thinking that your content is being shared and liked by real people across social media

Of course, SocialAdr doesn’t claim to be “tricking” Google: it claim to be a 100% Google safe service to use. Theoretically, if all the social media accounts were from real humans, then it may be Google-friendly.

In practice, however, you’ll find plenty of spam accounts and meaningless no-name accounts on SocialAdr. These types of social signals don’t trick Google for very long, but they do provide decent backlinks for new websites and tier 2 sites.

Whether it’s Google-approved or not, SocialAdr promises to offer some powerful benefits, including:

— Web-based Interface Accessible From Any Internet-connected Device

— Diverse Links From “real Human” Social Media Accounts

— Top Social Sites Like Twitter, Facebook, And Linkedin (a Total Of 24 Sites)

— Fully Automated System With No Manual Typing Or Labor Required

— Real-time Statistics On Your Current Marketing Campaign

— Automatic Pinging Of All Social Media Links To Increase The Speed At Which Search Engines Discover Your Content

Which Sites Can I Share On?

SocialAdr currently lets users share their content across a total of 24 different social media sites.

Those sites include: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Delicious, Diigo, StumbleUpon, FriendFeed, Ello, Plur, TheTopLink, Bitly, Blog.co.uk, RateItAll, SiteJot, Folkd, Kippt, WeHeartIt, Cuzo, Bookmark4You, YouMob, Transferr, and URL.ORGanizer

As you can see, there are only a few social media sites that you really want your bookmarks to appear on. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, StumbleUpon, and LinkedIn are all high-value bookmarks, for example.

Meanwhile, you probably haven’t heard of most of the social sites in the last half of that list. They still offer some social value: not in terms of traffic, but in the valuable “link juice” that comes from ranking on sites with modest PR.

Notable absentees from this list include Reddit, Tumblr, Digg, and Slashdot – you’ll see some of these sites pop up on other social bookmarking services, for example.

SocialAdr is constantly adding and dropping new social sites. SocialAdr used to support sites like SpeedTile, Sonico, RStatus, MySiteVote, Meemi, and Heelo, for example. Some of these sites no longer exist, so it makes sense that SocialAdr no longer supports them.

How Much Does SocialAdr Cost?

SocialAdr is free to join, although there are premium accounts available. Here’s how the accounts break down:

As you can see, the free accounts are relatively limited. They’re also the only accounts to not come with a backlinks guarantee.

It’s also important to note that the Cost per Backlink is included within the monthly price: that’s what you’re paying for. You’re not paying $40 per month plus an additional amount based on the number of shares.

As plans increase in value, you pay less per backlink, dropping to 2.1 on the Lazy Link Addict Plan and 1.6 on the Lazy Linkaholic plan.

How to Use SocialAdr

SocialAdr can be used on any sites you own. However, if you’re careful about backlink sources, then you’re going to want to carefully control which type of content you submit to SocialAdr.

Some of the best ways to use SocialAdr include:

— Getting initial backlinks on a new website (some people recommend putting bookmarks to “Drip” submission rate, which shares them once a week). You can also do this on new pages of an existing website.

— Sharing videos. If you want to make a video go viral (or look like it’s gone viral in the eyes of Google), try setting it to Slow for the first 2-3 days before increasing it to “Normal” for 3-5 days.

— Tier 2 links. Many people avoid using SocialAdr on their tier 1 links. It’s too risky. Instead, fire off between 10 to 30 SocialAdr bookmarks towards your tier 2 links to speed up their indexing process and build some initial backlinks.

Conclusion: Who Should Use SocialAdr?

SocialAdr is an effective marketing tool that is guaranteed to spread backlinks for your site on 24 sites across the internet.

Not all of those backlinks, however, will be of a high level of quality. Ideally, your content will be shared by real human users who have real human followers. But in reality, your content will inevitably end up on at least some Twitter accounts that do nothing but spam SocialAdr links.

I recommend trying a free account to see how SocialAdr works. If you notice that your content is being shared by real humans, then it may be worth signing up for a paid account. If you’re getting nothing but spammy bot backlinks, however, then it may not be worth your time and money.
