Article Writing Software

Article Writing Software Review

One of the most difficult parts of launching a website is filling it with interesting articles. Thanks to article writing software, you can automate the writing process and fill your website with intelligent, auto-generated content which is surprisingly readable.

At least, that’s the promise made by article writing software manufacturers. In reality, article writing software can be hit and miss. Sometimes, you get an article filled with gibberish, unintelligible grammar, and random sentences.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get an article which contains your desired keywords and a somewhat intelligible sentence structure. Your auto-generated content might even convert a sale, generate an AdSense click, or push your site to the top of the search engine rankings.

What makes some article writing software better than others? Find out today in our article writing software review.

How Does Article Writing Software Work?

Article writing software, also called blog writing software, typically works in the same way.

You enter keywords into the software and it scrapes articles from the internet. When the software is “scraping” it means that it’s scanning thousands of websites to find articles relevant to that keyword.

Basically, the software will Google your keyword, find blogs related to that keyword, then pick sentences from those blogs to form a somewhat-coherent article.

Some software is better at this than others. Bad software will simply scrape sentences and mash them together into your article. Good software will ensure each article is related to the same topic and has some sort of flow, sentence structure, or cohesiveness.

Today, there are dozens of article writing software programs available. Some of them are free, but most of the good ones are paid. If you want gibberish and awkward sentence structure, then free article writing software is a good choice. If you want articles that are somewhat readable, then you need paid article writing software.

Obviously, article writing software isn’t for legitimate writers: it’s not going to win you a Pulitzer Prize or attract legions of fans on social media. Instead, it’s designed purely for internet marketers who may need to build hundreds of websites in a short period of time.

Many people call article writing software the secret to making a “six figure income online”. Of course, these people will then display an affiliate link to article writing software – so take their advice with a grain of salt.

Popular Article Writing Software Programs

There are a number of popular article writing software programs available online today. Most of the ones listed below are paid. Here are the most popular article software programs

Article Builder

Article Builder was built by Jonathan Leger and is one of the better article writers on the market today. It’s popular partly because Jonathan offers a lucrative affiliate program, which means there are hundreds of positive reviews across the internet – even from people who’ve never used the software before.

Article Builder has a few unique distinctions from other article writing software. It’s entirely browser-based so it works from any computer. It also comes with prewritten unique articles: Jonathan has prewritten hundreds of short paragraphs. Some of these short paragraphs are catered to specific topics, while others can be used to fit any topic.

To write an article, you choose a category, keywords, and length. You can make an article 300, 500, or even 1000 words long. After submitting your information, Article Builder takes 10 seconds to search its database, then outputs a half-decent article.

Article Builder is one of the costliest article writing programs on the market today and costs $197 per year. It’s also arguably the industry’s best program.

Instant Article Wizard

Jonathan Leger, the guy who built Article Builder, also offers a program called InstantArticleWizard.com. It’s a lower level of quality than Article Builder, but still offers okay results.

Instant Article Wizard is entirely web-based and found at InstantArticleWizard.com. The tool pulls content from search engine results pages, including blog posts, article directories, and news stories. Then, it puts that information into an easy-to-read format.

It’s a lighter, low-budget form of Article Builder and is basically a scraper/spinner rolled into one.

Instant Article Wizard costs $47 per year.

The Leading Articles

The Leading Articles sells articles. Then, you can spin those articles to a point where they’re nearly 100% unique, then output a semi-readable 500 to 600 word article on the topic.

The Leading Articles works in a slightly different way from other article scrapers/generators. First, it maintains a marketplace of thousands of articles. You can log into the site, search for articles with your keywords in them, then review the article and redeem it for your later use. The articles can be highly-spun, and each article can only be purchased 300 times before being removed from the database.

The Leading Articles won’t actually spin the articles for you. You will, however, receive free access to Unspin-iT, which is an article spinner software. You buy the article and spin it using the software. Since the articles are only sold 300 times, you should be able to create a relatively unique article with minimal spinning.

You purchase The Leading Articles differently than you would purchase other article writing software. You simply buy credits to put towards articles. One credit costs $12, 4 credits cost $32, and 8 credits cost $48. Each credit gets you one article.

Quick Article Pro

Quick Article offers three different content writing software programs, including Quick Article Pro, Quick Article Submitter, and Quick Article Spinner.

Quick Article Pro is the article writing software part of the catalog. Quick Article Pro can help you write articles in 10 different languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Indonesian and Finnish & Norwegian). It features a straightforward interface and works as a decent scraper.

That scraper will tell you the URL of the original source of each sentence in your auto-generated article. Most other article generators don’t do that. You can keep the sentences as-is or run them through your own scraper – or the additional Quick Article Spinner software.

Quick Article Pro is available for $49.99. You can also bundle the software with other programs – like Article Spinner and Article Submitter – to save a bunch of money. All three programs are $99.95 when purchased together.

Jiffy Articles

Jiffy Articles promises to help you write 500 word articles in as little as 5 or 10 minutes. You start by choosing an article category and inputting your keywords. Then, you choose a template article and write out the basis for your article, including the title, introduction, and body ideas.

You just need to write a few words in each box, and Jiffy Articles will produce an article for you. There are about 100 different article categories available with about 6,000 unique templates.

Jiffy Articles was actually made by Jon Leger, who you probably recognize from the first two products on our list, Article Builder and Instant Article Wizard.

This article writing software costs $127 per year.

Article Scrape Chief

Article Scrape Chief lets you scrape hundreds of articles on any topic in minutes. You can define the minimum and maximum number of words for the scraped article and then spin, rewrite, post, or index the blog posts as you wish.

Article Scrape Chief is a Windows-based software. Depending on the speed of your computer, scraping articles from the internet could take anywhere from a few seconds to 10 minutes. You can also add a proxy.

It won’t actually spin articles itself, but it will give you access to The SpinnerChief API. So you can choose to spin the article or leave it as-is.

Article Scrape Chief is available for a one-time fee of $77.

And dozens of others

There are new article writing software programs popping up online every day – and older ones often disappear or are rebranded under a new name. When you search for article writing software online, you’ll find everything from free web-based content generators to full-fledged software suites.

Some article writing software that didn’t make this list include Answer Analyst, Scribe Content, Instant Article Factory, Content Ferret, WhiteSmoke, and Smart Article Generator. All of these software programs perform essentially the same job as the other software on this list.

There are also article writing software programs that don’t actually write articles for you, but check your grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure. Other software helps you organize ideas, structure your paragraphs, and foster creative writing.

Conclusion: Who Should Use Article Writing Software?

If you’re serious about your career as a writer, then stay far, far away from article writing software. It’s no replacement for human-written articles, and even a half cent per word writer from a third-world country can write better.

If, however, you need to produce dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of unique articles on a particular topic, then article writing software is your most cost-effective way to do so. The articles will be somewhat readable, somewhat intelligent, and somewhat focused on a topic.

Article writing software will never win you a dedicated following of fans, but they will fill lower-quality websites with topical content which can generate clicks and traffic.
