Nu Skin is one of the largest and oldest MLM companies that sell personal care products under the brand name, Pharmex.

Nu Skin Overview

Blake Roney, Steve Lund, Sandie Tillotson, Nedra Roney are the four main founders who began Nu Skin in Provo, Utah in 1984. In only six years, Nu Skin grew so much it began operations in Asia, with a headquarters in Hong Kong.

In 1996, Nu Skin was listed on the New Yew York Stock Exchange. While it has had problems in the past with the FTC over its’ MLM practices, it has largely been one of the most legitimate MLM companies in the world. In fact, Nu Skin was listed in Forbes in the “100 Most Trustworthy Companies” category. Today, Nu Skin has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Nu Skin Scam?

As with any MLM, the first thing people think about is whether or not it is a scam. As it was just mentioned before, Nu Skin is widely regarded as one of the trust worthiest MLMs. In fact, Nu Skin even sponsors the Utah Jazz dancers, the Bingham Young Athletic Department, and the Freedom Festival in Utah.

It also operates a charity called the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, a charitable organization that operates around the world helping those in need.

Nu Skin Products

While Nu Skin originally sold primarily skin products, it has grown to sell well over 200 health and personal care products. Nu Skin sells products from weight loss products to heart and immune health supplements. Nu Skin also sells custom formulated products specifically geared at both men and women to deliver nutrients specifically needed by each gender.

Still, Nu Skin’s primarily focus is still on skin health. Nu Skin sells hair products, body care products, acne products, moisturizers, cosmetics, sun protection products, and even has a line of skin products geared towards men.

Nu Skin Payment Plan

Nu Skin offers commissions for both members sales and personal sales. Members can receive up to 25% of what they sell and 5% of what their level one referrals sell However, Nu Skin offers steep bonuses of up to 15% of the total gross sales volume for members and their entire downline based upon sales volume and amount of referrals.

There are few details about how much money the average user makes but many people estimate that top members earn well over a few million dollars per year. Thanks to the diverse amount of products Nu Skin sells, it is entirely believable that top members are making this amount of money.
