Limitless Worldwide

Limitless Worldwide

Limitless Worldwide is a network marketing company whose products range from skin care to weight loss supplements. Let's take a look.

The Company

Limitless partners with Basic Research, which supplies the science behind all their products. The founders are Steve and Melyn Campbell, who've been in network marketing for 20 years.

Based in Utah under the largest private solar-paneled roof in the state, Basic Research is the powerhouse of Limitless Worldwide. They make products not just for LW but also for Macy's, Sephora, GNC, Saks, Bloomingdales and more. The range of industry covers cosmetics, body-building, joint health, skin care and more.

They were named Rite-Aid's Vendor of the Year award in 2005. I tell you this because in the world of network marketing, it's always a plus when you can connect your products to brick and mortar stores. It adds authenticity… big time.

The Products

Products come in droves…there's got to be about 50 of them, all priced in what I would call the “premium” category. They range from anti-aging skincare to weight management shakes to supplements.

The Effortless Line of Products

Here's what I mean about premium pricing. I'll take an example from “Effortless”, which is their weight management line.

2 lbs of Chocolate Shake will run you $123 retail and $113 if you're on Autoship. The shake is a protein shake, and to compare prices I can get 2 lbs of protein shake from GNC for $25.

How does Limitless justify their pricing (and how will you if you sign up as a distributor)?

Well it's good that it's made in the USA, for starters. But beyond that, it's hard to find much on the Product PDF on how their shake is better than anyone else's. There's merely a lot of talk about how protein is good for you and shakes are too in general.

The Timeless Line of Products

If I'm going to pay $24 for shampoo, it'd better be not only effective but good for my hair. That means natural ingredients, if not organics. I took a look at the Product PDF for LW's Ultra Shine Deep Cleansing Shampoo and found that while there's a nice description of the product and what it does, the ingredients list looks like a chemistry experiment.

Well at least the first product after water is rated very safe on the Skin Deep® Cosmetics Database. And so are the second and third ingredients. Marketing-wise, however, they should be tapping into the trends and push those features.

They do have a nice concept that's fresh and intriguing, and that's “Anti Aging Hair Care”. Alas, they don't fully explain what this means, even if you read the entire product PDF.

The Ageless Line of Products

Here we have dietary supplements, some of which have ingredients similar to testosterone boosters taken by body builders! (L-Arginine, for example, in “SeroDyne”, a supplement for anti-aging and performance ($198).

We also have:

  • NST Certified for Sport (more supplements)
  • Regimens (bundles of products for targeted goals)

They suggest combining products for maximum effectiveness.

The Compensation Plan

This one certainly wins the award for best-named comp plan. The Limitless Patent-Pending TriBrid Overlay Compensation Plan™ is what they call it. Here's how it works:

  • TriBrid simply means there are 3 ways to earn:
    1. Core (the first 50 PV): 15% commission on personally enrolled distributors & customers. 10% on 2nd and 3rd levels. 5% on levels 4-6
    2. Portals. Earn extra 5% bonus on your front line (customer acquisition bonus and group bonuses). As you advance through the ranks, this gets higher.
    3. Portal Pools. 40% of company portal volume for the month goes to Xecutives.
  • “Overlay” because there are multiple ways to earn from the same downlines.
  • To qualify, there's a $49 fee to pay to join. You get a Distributor Business Kit, access to the Virtual Office, a website & marketing materials, and bank account + debit card
  • Recurring $25 annual fee after the first year.

The Verdict

In a world where demand for natural beauty products is growing like crazy, it's going to be a hard sell for Limitless Worldwide, who doesn't push this trend at all. If you can sell these products, however, the comp plan is nice. The science is well supported, although not marketed very well on many of the products.
