What Being a Changemaker Entails

The definition of a changemaker is very simple: an individual who constantly finds ways to serve and consistently seeks solid solutions to life's stresses and struggles.

As soon as you learn how you are meant to serve and help others, you will never want to stop giving back. Although you may feel doubts occasionally, and there will be moments where you are wondering if you have done the right thing, I guarantee that once you have started, you will always be drawn back to the practice of changemaking.

Being a changemaker means that you are able to envision what the world has the potential to become. In addition to being able to see the potential of the world, it also means that you have the perseverance and courage to try to bring about this change.

If you are a changemaker, every action that you make is filled with extensive meaning and purpose. You can have any job that is available, as long as you infuse your passion to help the world within it. There is no specific career that you must have in order to bring about change in this world. You can be a teacher, a businessman, or an employee at a retail store. Each individual has the same ability as any other person to initiate reforms and change.

If you find that you are not on the current career path that you would like to be, the best place for you to initiate change is within yourself. Before you change the circumstances that help to define your life, you must first transform who you are. Once you do this, your life plan and the path before you will start to become clearer than ever before. There is always the potential for you to make dramatic changes in your life because of this, but these changes are not necessarily required for you to alter your life as a whole.

The number of excuses that people manage to make truly is endless. I really have heard it all. If only I was just a little bit younger. If only I wasn’t so stressed in regards to money and paying all of my bills. If only I didn’t have to manage all of the  money that I do have and keep track of it. If only I had met the right person to spend my life with. If only my current spouse supported my life decisions more. If only I didn’t have children to raise and focus all my energy on. If only there was more time in each day. If only I was more intelligent. If only I had gone back to college to get another degree. If only I was healthier. If only I had more people that were willing to help me. If only I understood technology more. If only I actually had access to more technology. If only I knew how to properly market my skills and sell my resume.

Now is the time to finally pursue what you have been meant to truly do all along.

You will never find a more convenient or perfect time than this very moment. Embrace your future as a changemaker, and be courageous enough to delve into the unknown.

If right this second were the ideal time for you to finally pursue your destiny as a changemaker, what would you choose to do?

As a career, what will you choose to be? As a person, whom will you choose to be? It is completely up to you to decide.
