Three of the Most Important Keys to Success

In my coaching and training programs, there are many different things that I incorporate, teach, and elaborate on. Here are the three primary areas that I generally focus on most:

1) An individual’s psychological and emotional mindset, or what I call the “inner game”.
2) The business attraction between clients and customers.
3) The mastery of time.

Years of experience and hours of time dedicated to working with changemakers have proven to me time and time again that these three primary areas contain most of the challenges that individuals eventually encounter. Because of that fact, I find it incredibly important to mainly focus on these goals, and to make sure that my clients have complete understanding of them, in order to avoid any pitfalls in the future.

An individual’s psychological and emotional mindset, or what I call the “inner game”.

When it comes to whether you are going to be successful or not at your goals, your attitude and mindset are absolutely pivotal, and that is putting it mildly. They are critical factors that help to determine if you are going to succeed at both business and service, which both make up your positive impact on the world.

I personally would estimate that 90 percent of success in business is completely based off of psychological factors, while the final 10 percent is technical skill. If you ever want to get anywhere near accomplishing your goals, you must have a positive attitude and perspective. If you do not, you are only making it difficult for yourself to succeed.

The business attraction between clients and customers.

Many individuals, myself included, consider business attraction between clients and customers to be one of the most important yet misunderstood concepts of business. You will oftentimes hear that successful marketing is being able to persuade individuals to buy a product through the use of impressive presentations, web pages, blogs, videos, emails, newsletters, social media, advertisements, sales letters, and more.

Although this can be true in some instances, a majority of these marketing tactics are only surface level, and they do not delve deeper into the actual world of business. If they are implemented improperly, they can wind up costing you a lot of valuable time and money. And, if something goes very wrong, your reputation and relationship with current and future customers can be permanently ruined. When you learn how to genuinely connect and serve your clients, you will be much better off than when using these surface level tactics.

Once you master this, you will have an unlimited number of customers that are looking to work with you. This should be your overall goal, rather than the marketing tactics that you constantly hear about. Accepting this is an important step, and realization makes all the difference. Don’t jeopardize everything that you have worked for and accomplished just because you would rather use tactics that are the “easy way out”. Your business and career are worth more than that.

The mastery of time.

Lastly, the mastery of time is also incredibly important. If you do not master your time, you will wind up being inefficient, unfocused, distracted, overworked, tired, and simply ready to give up on everything. You will be exhausted, and you will not even have any overwhelmingly impressive results to show for it.

Let’s look at this realistically- if you are truly passionate about changing the world, you are going to have more things on your to-do list than you are ever going to be able to accomplish in one given day. Your list will be growing at a much quicker rate than you can check things off at. You must learn how to successfully prioritize tasks, and you must learn how to also work efficiently.

Although these may seem like difficult concepts, a large portion of the world is unable to grasp them. Ignoring distractions is harder than one would normally think, and there is an abundance of them out there, waiting to take your mind off of the work that is before you.

If you currently are not living your dream career and life, chances are that you have not yet managed to master one or more of these areas. In order to help you out, I am going to look at each of these areas more in depth, and further explain how you can successfully understand and master them.

By the end of this series, you will be equipped with all of the tools that you will need in order to be a pro at each of these areas. Then you will finally be set to pursue your dream career and start truly making a difference in the world. Read on to the next chapter in order to learn more about these primary areas, what they mean for you, and why they are so important.
